This evening, we had our annual AWANA closing program. Pastor Johnston concluded the evening with a short devotinal.

Intro. - This is our AWANA Closing Program. Why do we have a Childrens Ministry? Because Jesus told us to permit the children to come to Him, and He taught us that we all must become as little children in order to be saved. Why is this?

Concl. - Someone has said, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions", but I think that road was made possible by PRIDE. "Pride goes before destrution"...Proverbs 16:18. If you're not a Christian, I plead with you to swallow your pride, humbly repent of your sins, and place child-like faith in Jesus, the One who died for our sins and rose again for our justification. Romans 4: 24-25; 10: 9-13.
